What is the earliest date that is available for move-in?
Completion of Buildings B & C is targeted for late fall 2026. Building A will follow in late Spring 2027.

What will the HOA dues include?
They include the usual condo common areas such as landscaping, exterior building maintenance and insurance. South Green additionally has fantastic amenities which include a club room, mail and package room, fitness center, a covered terrace, community firepit, shared raised garden beds and a small dog park area.
What are the HOA dues?
1 bedroom - $171.91/month
1 bedroom + den - $189.10/month
2 bedroom - $206.29/month
2 bedroom + den - $223.48/month

Is there additional storage?
There are some storage lockers in each building, approximately 40 lockers (4’x4’x4’) will be spread throughout the buildings. They will be available for rent from the HOA.
Are there going to be elevators in every building?Buildings A and B each have elevators. Building C is a three story walk-up, it will have a breezeway staircase in lieu of an elevator.

Does my condo come with its own parking space?
Yes. Each condo will be assigned 1 reserved parking space. In addition, there will be at least 30 spaces open for additional parking and guests. There is no fee for parking.
Will there be EV chargers on site?
Yes! EV charging stations will be in shared parking areas, using an app/service for a fee.

How do I access downtown Carrboro and Chapel Hill from South Green Flats?
Downtown Carrboro is easily accessible via sidewalk through the quiet Roberson Place neighborhood adjacent to the South Green community. Franklin Street and UNC’s campus can be accessed via the Roberson Bike Path and Libba Cotten Bikeway to Cameron Avenue.

Cat’s Cradle & Weaver Street Market, Open Eye: 6 min walk

Are the condos allowed to be rented or only owner-occupied?
Yes, renting is permitted. Investors are allowed, but the number of investor-owned units will be capped at 50%. The minimum lease term allowed is 3 months to allow for visiting faculty, travel nurses, etc. No short-term (Airbnb) rentals are allowed.
